Re: Mail crashes after sleep

Hi there,
Just had this again with a Notes client on a new PC. Fix that worked for me before was putting the following line in notes.ini
NOTES_TEMPDIR=d:\IBM\NotesTemp

Cause seems to be inadvertent removal of Notes client temporary files (.DTF) files from Windows temp folder (eg. by anti-virus)
see http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21605814

See following from that IBM Technote:

"A restart of the Notes client will typically resolve this problem."

"Configuring the anti-virus software to exclude files with an extension of .DTF can prevent this problem from happening."

"Setting NOTES_TEMPDIR in the client's notes.ini file to a directory that is specifically used for storing such files can also help to prevent this problem. For Example:

NOTES_TEMPDIR=c:\NotesTemporaryFiles "

Error messages that come up(so search will find this page)
"Notes error: file does not exist (CalendarProfile)"
"Field: 'dLogo': File does not exist"
